The Civil Services Exam is a competitive examination nationwide and administered by the Union Public Service Commission. The exam is for recruitment to various Civil Services of the Government of India, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Services (IPS). A graduate degree is the minimum criteria of qualification for a candidate to appear for the UPSC exam. The final year students are also eligible to appear for the exam. With the increasing number of institutes for IAS coaching in Bihar, and Panchkula, It has increasingly become difficult for candidates to find the one that is most suitable. Although there is no age to start the preparation of IAS examination and it also varies from individual to individual. From the available statistics, most of the candidates who start their preparation early fall in the 20-22 years age group. But again there are others who begin their preparation after 26 years and even some who have cleared the exam after 30 years of age. It all depends on your ability to assimilate the course content and enthusiasm.
